Pearl Jam DVD Spotlights New York Show

Pearl Jam is eschewing a comprehensive DVD of its 2003 Riot Act tour in favor of spotlighting one particularly noteworthy show from the trek. The double-disc "Live at the Garden," capturing the band's July 8 performance at New York's Madison Square Garden, will arrive Nov. 11 via Epic. On the same day, the label will issue a long-in-the-works set of rarities, although no information on that collection has yet been confirmed.

I was also at the showbox show.You just had to be at the msg to understand how cool and powerful it actually was.The crowd was freakin insane.
It was so loud in there.

Ya know....what about the sorry sucks who COULDN'T afford to go to both MSG shows, and went to the 9th because it was SUPPOSED to be the LAST night of the tour? Huh? Huh? LOL

Don't showcase one show on a tour of over 70. Showcase them all dammit..they are all noteworthy and special in their own way.

I was hoping for a TB2003...ah well. MSG 1 was one of my favorite shows of the tour, so I'm not displeased, but I wish they had done both the single-show DVD and a TB2003.
