ok, here's the deal.

Radiohead tickets for West Palm went on sale this morning and I bought the best ones I could, but they're not that good (they are seats, but way back there, next to the lawn)
I know that the radiohead website has allocated some tickets for each show and West Palm's go on sale this Monday. Of course, they're the best tickets in the house.
I bought through ticketmaster cause I didn't want to risk not being able to buy the tickets through the RH website -- I know they sell really fast. I wanted to guarantee two tickets as fast as i could, you know?

But I really want to get closer seats, so I'm considering trying to buy through their website.

Now... I've never resold tickets before and I really don't want to lose $100 on tickets that won't be used. So my question (heh, after this book i wrote) is... How easy is it to re-sell tickets? and if i do, should i wait till i'm at the venue or try e-bay before? Has anyone done that and wasn't able to sell the worst tix? Should I buy better tix if I find them?

Thanks a bunch ;)

actually, i would say that jason would be the expert here....

however, yes, if its a highdemand concert, you will be able to sell them...just look at all the folks who got into msg at the last minute?

it might be a pain in the rear, but if you find a radiohead message board and let those folks know, im sure you will get rid of em.

goodluck :)

they should be fairly easy to sell at face value..I wouldn't deal with ebay...look in the paper and see if anyone is saying they want to buy tickets...also, check the local radio station websites...many of them have ticket exchange ads...if worse comes to worse, you could try selling at the venue....I'd recommend being very careful and finding out the laws in your area though...for instance, it's illegal to sell tickets within two blocks of the venue...even at face value or below....I'd hate to see you get busted

by all means...go for the better seats

I just learned that ticketbastard ended up releasing WAY BETTER seats one hour after they went on sale.
It's just not fair that people who kept refreshing the page untill it was 10 on the dot, like REALLY wanting to buy tickets, would get worse seats than people who weren't as serious and bought it one hour later. bleh.

seeing that tickets are already on e-bay with starting bids of $150 per pair, it won't be really hard to sell them at face value:) i just hope i can get good seats through their site.
thanks for the advice, girls!

if you dont necessarily want to make money...i bet you could sell them real fast on ebay...if you use the "buy it now" option and set it at face value....

i dont mind ebay. i have sold tickets on there. and i have bought MANY tickets on there. selling is better than buying, because you get the money before you send tickets...instead of sending money and hoping the person in honest....(but i have yet to have a problem with that)
