ok, this is what im thinking.....

alcazar knocked out ric and kidnapped carly.
carly will find her way back to sonny, but lose the baby.
as this is happening, alexis' back will be up against the wall and the quartermains will be on the threshold of taking her daughter, so it will come out that her daughter is, in fact, sonny's child.

i dont know, perhaps then alexis will really go nuts and kill sonny or something....

what do youse guys think???? hey, this stuff is good enough to invest in a copy of soapopera digest...we, the groovlets and i, knew that all this was going to be happening, cause i purchased a copy on monday :O

and before any of you slam me for being a shit mother for letting my kids watch general hospital with me, well....i do force them to listen to pearljam in my car ;) i cant be ALLLLLLLL that bad :P

okay, I know who Sonny is, I used to know who Carly was, but not sure the same actress plays her anymore, Alexis, not sure of her, although I am thinking she is part of that greek evil family?


I have not watched this show in many years now, I go back to Anna and Robert, and Duke, and of course little Robin, who became big Robin with Aids, and all that good stuff.


Rena Sofer used to be on this show, married to Ned on the show and in real life, now she is going to be on US version of Coupling, 9.30 Thursdays night on NBC people, you were told, now watch:rolleyes:

I don't get the Sonny/Ed similarity... although I do like Sonny... for a mobster guy, he's pretty darn cool. ;)

Carly... I think she shoulda died when she "died." She's always been a bitch every since she came to give Bobbie hell back when she was married to Tony (The guy the plays Tony is from a town close to my hometown by the way. hahaha)

i'll occasionally watch GH on soapnet, but don't watch it when it is on abc (i watch soapnet for all the abc soaps, including my favorite, Port Charles, which the abc station here has it on at 2am)...

sonny reminds you of ed? don't think i've ever thought that! i still can't believe sonny doesn't know that baby christina (alexis' sisters namesake) is his (ned would have never cheated on christina...refresh my memory here, before christina died, did alexis or ned tell her the truth? I can't remember)....

i'm a soapfan and i probably will be for life (just like a Pearl Jam fan for life!)...i don't see anything wrong with that!

a. carly has redeemed herself. she is actually very likable and not a bitch (different actress, jas).

b. yes, alexis is associated with the cassidines (the evil greek family)

c. rena sofer and the guy who plays ned split up.

d. ric came to town a bit ago with the original alcazar. there was some back story between the two but also some sort of connection that ric knew about sonny. ric HATES sonny..turns out that ric and sonny are brothers (same mom) but the mom let ric's father raise him because sonny hated ric's father. which is why ric has kidnapped sonny's pregnant wife, because he was going to steal the baby, so he would have the ultimate revenge on sonny, who he hates.

are we following this so far?

e. before christina died, and im a bit fuzzy onthis cause i didnt see it for a while back then....christina found out on her own that alexis was pregnant with sonny's baby and that ned was helping todeceive sonny. THAT is why she decided to go to the coffee warehouse that night, to tell sonny that he was the father...but then alcazar set fire to the warehouse and she ended up dying. but the secret also died with her. and is also one of the reasons that alexis killed the original alcazar. the alcazar who is on now (same actor) is the original guys twin brother :rolleyes:

Alexis is Stephano's supposed cousin, but come to find it, is ACTUALLY his long lost half sister Natasha (right?) That's old new though.

Christina died?? that stinks.

Sonny seems to have all kinds of random siblings coming out of the woodwork. What ever happen to his baby sister? Is she still with A.J.? Is AJ any more tolerable as a human these days? lol

Carly: I don't know, even in recent years she still seems like a spoiled brat. I dunno. I mean, she faked her death to get back at sonny, which was SO not cool. My mom has always liked Carly for whatever reason. I've yet to figure this out.

I don't know who alcazar is.

I was very disappointed when they got rid of the original Lucky (and now the guy that plays him looks 30 or something, when lucky is SUPPOSE to be my age... boooo). Only to further be disappointed when the changed Emily's. But, that's how it goes. Also, the A.J. before the current one looked WAY more like he could be Jason's brother, although the two are actually half-brothers I think. Their conception and the drama that went with it was obviously before my time. hehehe I miss the pre-accident jason though. I liked him better than the "bad ass" jason morgan thing. Think he'll ever be the old jason? it's a soap... ya never know. *sigh*

I used to watch it all the time... esp during the summer. I'm never in front of a tv that time of the day anymore.

I remember summer would start, and I'd have to ask my mom who all the new people were and what all happened since my last break. hahaha I also enjoy One Life to Live (that show is FUNNY!) and All My Children. Port Charles sucks... and my mom hates it because it comes on when she's at work and they moved Lucy over to that one. That disappointed her greatly.

Umm... I'll stop now. hahahaha

I hate, hate, hate and despize soap operas. but a good friend of my daughter's was supposed to start on "Days of Our Lives" today playing more than a small role. so I was forced to switch this show on but I could only watch like 2 minutes at a time before I had to turn the channel or kill someone instead. now Matt may have began his work on that show today but I honestly could not sit and watch this crap waiting to see him when he came on. hopefully I'll catch a glimpse of him as I'm flipping thru channels just enough to say "hey I remember that little pretty boy punk" I guess we'll just haveta see

hey cath, i have a question for you....okay i remember when Carly was still pregnant with baby Morgan, a sonogram indicated that he had a heart problem...i flipped past the show on Friday and wondered if he has already had surgery or what?? or have they dropped that story??

nah, the problem healed itself and the baby was born without the problem that it had. HOWEVER, carly had the baby in this new house that sonny bought for her, in the middle of a hurricane. carly and sonny had this huge argument and sonny left and carly went to look for him and wound up in the new house. well, of course the house was right in the path of the hurricane, right? because of a bridge that was washed away, sonny couldnt get to the new house to look for carly, only that wierd courtney found her and was totally hopeless as to delivering a baby.

SO

then, of course alcazar found carly and was helping to deliver the baby, uh huh, when there was a huge crack of lightning, sonny opens the door to the house, sees carly yelling in pain with alcazar over top of her and sonny freaks, thinks alcazar is hurting carly and so sonny shoots carly, realizes that his wife is mid childbirth, delivers his son only to find out that the bullet also went into carly's head.

carly spent a while in the hospital in a coma having these wierd dreams that she was married to alcazar, woke up and has been secretly in love with alcazar.

so, yadda yadda now, as of today, carly is with alcazar and sonny is with this new chick who looks just like brenda.

and that great storyline...has fizzled and now the show pretty much sucks.

i used to watch general hospital a long time ago. the only one i ever watch now is the very tail end of Passions....which is without a doubt the stupidest thing on tv...i mean really....why the hell do they need an orangatang on a soap opera....

ps..the only reason i see the end of Passions is because Dr. Phil comes on right after it on the same station.

ive had waaaaay to much time on my hands lately and ive seen waaaaaaaaay to many soapoperas. passions wins the prize for most campiest with the worst actors...or perhaps they are the best actors who act campy and stupid.

days of our lives comes in a very close second ;)
