/images/frown.gif I have only been a fan of the band for a couple years. And what I really want is to get the fan club singles I don't have. Now, since I am a "new" fan,I don't have anything to trade, so I am going to have to buy them. OK, so I've been looking around.I've got the ones the Ten Club still had. Now I'm searching all over and I found some of the ones I don't have. But the prices on them are in my opinion OUTRAGEOUS!!!!Don't get me wrong, I love this band, but 50 dollars and up for a 45 rpm record is way out of my budget!!!! I realize that they are probably considered collectors items, but honestly!!! I mean this is something that the fan club gives away to members, for free!!!! It doean't seem right that people should be making that much money on these. Am I wrong?!?!?! /images/frown.gif

hey- i hear your pain.....go put out a notice on the bbs about this. I know I have had much success getting things that way. And the good news was I didn't have to pay a thing. Sometimes I didn't even have to trade. there are still jammers out there with good hearts. I can ask my somebody if they have these things for you, cause I like you, would enjoy them much.....i know a few who operate like me- if I have it and you wnat it, I'll send it to you, no charge, just pass it on to someone else using the same principal....

Speaking as someone who only latched onto the band in '98 (July 17th, to be exact), I totally hear ya about not having much rare material and fan club singles. I think some of the old singles are being sold through Ten Club, but in terms of getting rarities for myself, I find that people are quite willing to Spread The Jam to relative "newbies" without asking for anything in return. Another idea is maybe to search for songs off Napster or a similar program and then burn them onto a CD. (?)

I got the ones the ten club had, and I do have copies. I would just really like to have the vinyl.I'm just a dinosaur from the vinyl age /images/laugh.gif
