HOW F'ING SWEET IS THIS?!?!?!?!

Okay, so today I was reading through the procedure for my upcoming chemistry lab and after that, I was supposed to flip through these books as references to this essay I have to write, but I decided to take a little break. I went downstairs, played with my dog in the backyard and then came back in. I then decided on flipping through the t.v. channels. It was 4:30 on the nose, so the shows were just starting. Anyway, I got to channel 44, which is Canada's Comedy Network, and I see an SNL rerun. It begins with the skit of Emilio Estevez in a Singapore prison getting caned. So I'm like, "wait a minute here," I grab a tape, pop it in the VCR and wait for the opening credits. Surely enough, musical guest was our beloved PJ, and I pressed record on that lil baby and I was in 3 PJ song heaven!!!!!!!

Ahh, I'm on a roll now - yesterday I found my tape with the DTE video on it. I thought my loser of a brother taped over it, but it was there in all it's glory!!

I love stuff like that! Wonderful little surprises that brighten your day. About a month ago I was walking to this kids house that I babysit for and there was a truck blasting In Hiding....I just stood there....and listened.

Wicked!! Thank you so much for posting! I'm missing some of the SNL '94 performance from the tape I have and I can NEVER find out when they're rerunning the Pearl Jam episodes on Comedy Network. You made my night! /images/laugh.gif I'm gonna test out the new VCR on that 5:00am repeat! WOO-HOO!!!

I just spent the past 20 minutes checking my vcr time, timer, tapes, etc. I figure I'll probably end up waking in time just so nothing goes wrong.

I saw the re-run today myself.... but I noticed a HUGE problem with the sound of PJ's performance.. not tha band's fault at all; I have the show taped from when it went out live... it sounded nothing like the original. It's mostly evident during Rearviewmirror. Stone's and Eddie's guitars were pretty loud.. but Mike's guitar was nowhere to be heard.. not even during that screaming lead at the end of RVM. Nought-a-thing.

Maybe it was just the satellite connection where I'm at (BC; There were a few little mishaps during the show), or the network decided to be evil for whatever reason and screw things up. (?)

I hope the rest of ya'll didn't experience that... although I already have the show, it still irked me a wee bit.

Did they play all three songs? I've seen the re-run before and they skipped one. I couldn't watch the whole thing today.....

They didn't run the same one at 5:00 am. I was up at six, watched the tape, not the one with Pearl Jam.

Thanks for the effort, though, everyone.
Just checked my tape, saw Cher, and I figured something was up (I mean, I know Ed likes to do duets as side projects, but...)

The biggest bummer about not getting the PJ at 5:00am was that I taped over the partial "SNL '94" footage that I already had. Oh well, c'est la vie. They'll play it again sometime, and my VCR will be ready. I think I'll see if Comedy Network has a web site or something where it lists when certain episodes are gonna be on. I still haven't seen any of "SNL '92" and I MUST witness that Sharon Stone/horny Pearl Jam bit before I die!

No worries about the mix-up, eh?!

You know there is a section in synergy that always lists when and where the re-runs are going to be aired.
Check that,maby you'll have more luck,..I konw I hate it when I accidentally tape over stuff,..Especially Pearl Jam stuff..
