Looking for suggestions on planning a very special day for my sweetie.

Females - things you've done in the past, males - things you think you would like. Good thoughts only please.

I am handpainting a picture and doing some other forms of art for a gift, also a few framed pictures for my love- he's 10 hours away, so he needs pictures....I am going ot see him on the 9th- early V-day for us..we'll go out to dinner at our favorite resturaunt and then just be with each other. Probably bundle up & go for a walk in the woods. We don't get to see each other so much right now, so any time we spend together is special

TO MY FRIENDS, I'M NOT A DRUNK DRIVER...I'M PRESIDENT ELECT.

*ahem*

SEX! Hot, kinky SEX!

Just kidding /images/cool.gif Well, not really, but... uh... hmmm, how about food... bake him something if you can, or cook him dinner. Or just buy him a cool present and tell him you love him...

Then have sex. /images/laugh.gif

Hot kinky sex is not a problem, I wanted something different for him.

Okay without getting into this too much, I really wanted some help with unique ideas. I appreciate your suggestion however for the sex aspect, that's all well looked after.

OK Anne here is the most romantic thing my husband did for me... you can switch roles, it was the night before my 30th b-day and I came home to no lights being on, only the flame of a single candle, under the candle was a note that told me to find my way to the next candle, which was in my bathroom, where a tub was drawn with my favorite bath oils and a glass of wine, the note in the bathroom told me to enjoy my bath, my children were gone to grandmas and to come to the bedroom when I was finished... took my bath, dressed in the robe that was left for me and went to my bedroom, where my husband had set up a table for a candlelit dinner from my favorite resturant, after a wonderful evening alone with my love I awoke to breakfast in bed! It was unreal...he is such a great guy! Hopefully, this gives you some ideas.

I second this question. How do you plan a great Valentine's on a budget? Flowers, chocolate and dinners are just overdone. And I agree with you....the sex aspect is covered....we need something even more meaningful.

That evening sounds beautiful. Thank you for sharing it and I believe I may borrow some of your husband's ideas.

A nice walk in the crisp evening air....illuminated by the dull glow of the streetlights...hand and hand.

Yeah...that sounds good to me.
Hope everything goes well. I'm sure whatever you do, he will love it.
