*if aforementioned book was dedicated to me for coming up with the idea
*if the aforementioned book was followed by a film adaptation directed by Cameron Crowe, in which I was asked to do a cameo
*if Mike p.m.ed you and requested your services as a roadie on the next tour
*if the next tour had an australian and south american leg so our southernmost jamily members could experience PJ live
*if next week on Saturday night live-Host:Eddie, musical guest:Pearl Jam, special appearance by Neil Young
*if I was mentioned in the liner notes of the next album-a simple "thanks jayscott" for my dedicated fandom
*if there was a special surprise concert (by Pearl Jam) during the jamily gathering in Seattle this summer
*if they asked me to get on stage and jam with them during said concert
*if I could sing or play an instrument so I would be able to accept their invitation to jam in the previous scenario

haha i totally thought of the beach boys when i read this! and i must admit that i have been imagining the coolness of a surprise appearance at the jamily gathering. it would also be nice if:

*jeff called me looking for someone to go on a winter backcountry trip with him
*ed would call and ask me if i want surfing lessons somewhere incredibly warm
*the boys would come to missoula next time they tour
*next time i go to missoula jeff is in town and invites me over to his phat pad
