Long Road & "Heroin"

I was listening to Velvet Underground last night, and was amazed at the similarity between the begining of "Heroin" and "Long Road". One can definately hear the influence Velvet has on Ed.

Anyone else notice this similarity?

no.....but the other night i was listening to some jimi hendrix on the radio (not the usual stuff) and the dj played something that sounded astoundingly like yelloledbedder.....wish i caught the name but i dint[sad]
