Well, isn't it grand how quickly a day can improve?

So yeah, I haven't been a happy go lucky camper lately... but... happy stuff.

a) just checked ten club and turns out my tickets for Philly/July 5th went through monday. YIPPEE!!!

and...

b) I'M GONNA SEE COUNTING CROWS IN JULY!!!!!!! I got someone to go with me. Hopefully, we can snag some more people, but I have at least one person. My friend Nate. He said he's going to try to see if his girlfriend andrea wants to go too. Whether it's one friend or a group, i don't care. I just don't want to go by myself. My friend Yost (his name is brian, but everyone calls him by his last name just cuz it's such a unique name) expressed extreme interest in this. And his fiancee sounded quite excited about it too... especially since she heard the part about John Mayer.

I'm very excited about this. That's some more time off from work I have to ask for. haha. Hopefully my manager Tammy won't say "gee, mel... you plan on showing up at all this summer?" haha Actually, I think she'll understand. She's seeing Fleetwood Mac this summer and is pretty giddy about that, so she's pretty understanding about the need for live music. :)

It's gonna be GREAT!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Tickets are purchased and I think I did pretty darn good.

Section 100, Row P, seats 5-6. :) Way better than I managed to do for PJ. I only had confirmations from my friend Nate... never heard back from the other folks. So if they go, they just won't have seats with us. No reason we couldn't still caravan (it's the way to go when traveling in Texas. haha) We could get walkie-talkies and play road trip games... like naming bands in alphabetical order. hehe Oh, it's gonna be a great summer. But this is the LAST of the days I'm asking off for this summer I SWEAR!

And on another note... I was looking at my chemistry grades and I think if I can somehow by the grace of God make 100's on my last two quizzes, then I only have to make a 95 to make a B. That's kinda worrisome, but it's comprehensive, and I know the stuff from the first have of the semester much better, so that should help. I noticed I had the wrong thing written down in my notes for one thing, so I studied it wrong and therefore got it wrong on the test. That sucks. I guess when you're half asleep in chemistry lecture, that's bound to happen. But I'll just have to study my ass off between now and the final and I think I can do it... and I have to study for the quizzes too. Maybe I can get extra credit questions to somewhat lessen the grade I need for the Final.
