Cool shirt.

That's what the guy at the Kiefer's (a local greek restaurant) said to me when we were leaving tonight. I was wearing a binaural head PJ shirt. I was in disbelief that someone recognized the symbol and i had to ask, you recognize it? he confirmed and i got all giddy. we talked about the upcoming shows, he wasn't going to able to go to any:( but it was cool, in the geekiest sort of way, to connect with a stranger in small way. (i know people post about this sorta thing often, but it's still cool as all get out when it happens to you!)

long time no post here. i admit that i've been lurking, but it just seems like i don't have time to post when i lurk. and it's been so long since i posted regularly, that i felt a little uncomfortable about jumping in there again. but i got a hello email from someone the other day and that encouraged me to say hello to everyone again. so hi!

also, i'm so excited about the upcoming shows. nine days to my first show this year! woohoo! yeah, that's it.

nice story-

last semester i started graduate school and didn't know anyone and like the third week of classes i was getting up from my desk to leave and a guy said "nice shirt" and we talked about pearl jam and binaural and how i had a leaked copy of riot act and he knew everyone in the program basically and then from there i met everyone-cool stuff. it was the grey keyhole shirt

I meet a guy who was wearing an A Perfect Circle T once, we were passing each other in the street and I was just looking & pointing at his T and he was like 'Yeah it's a A Perfect Circle T..' in a tone that just told me he thought I was some stupid girl so I just turned around and flashed him my lower back tatt (it's a APC symbol for those of you who've missed that bit) and he was like 'Get fucked.. No way man that's so cool!!'

We got pissed together that night..

I have a lot of 'old' PJ shirts so I get a lot of 'I haven't seen that T in ages..' & 'I can't believe your T's still in such good condition..' comments..
