i read this today...i found it to be very much worth sharing, specially to those who may feel that no one cares:

"this guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole. the walls are so steep he can't get out. a doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, 'hey, doc, can you help me out?'.. the doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.

then a priest comes along, and the guy shouts up, 'father, i'm down in this hole! i can't get out..can you help me?' the priest writes a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on.

then a friend of the guy in the hole walks by. 'hey, bud, it's me! can you help me out?' and the friend jumps in the hole. dumbfounded, the guy says, 'are you nuts?! now we're both down here!'

the friend says, 'yeah, but i've been down here before-and i know the way out.' "

i found it in the sunday paper tv guide...
it was a dialogue between two of the characters from "the west wing"
the one character was offering support to another
who was going thru some hard times...

what tv guide do you get?
you did say you live near Detroit right? cause I live near there too and I sure as hell don't see anything like that in my tv guide.
