Cat Stevens can make you cry on the happiest of songs...
he's amazing
Dylan to me is the man
but I have to realize that Stevens is up there and pretty close

whats funny about me remembering this song is that i was picking single root notes and hit along the same lines of that song and i couldnt figure out what song it sounded like and then the melody hit me. and i figured it out. i wrote some words for the song i was trying to come up with. so this is my tribute to cat then hehe
"Im wishing that time didnt move this slow
Just wonderin how many days weve left to go
Im wishing that the world would set us free
So much we could enjoy just you and me.
-
Just listen with me...
If I find your eyes dilated
I guess I picked the right song.
-
Im glad you took the time to listen with me
Nothing like the right song -- and melody
"
very short and not exactly the same but its inspired by it and fun to play both electric and acoustic.
ill record it maybe tomorrow for fun and post it if i can get internet on my main PC damn dial up. :)
