now up at www.pearljam.com

Here it is! Pearl Jam is on tour in 2003! The US dates are official and the fan club is offering the opportunity to you, as an active 10c member, to purchase exclusive tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Take note, this time around you may purchase 2 TICKETS TO AS MANY SHOWS AS YOU LIKE! That means, you will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets to each show, but how many shows you decide to attend is up to you …

Please carefully read and follow the specific instructions on how to obtain your Pearl Jam tickets. Mistakes are avoidable, so please read and re-read the instructions to prevent any complications with your ticket purchase.

Ticket prices for the US tour will range from $35-$38. The unavoidable fees for facility maintenance, parking, and services are added on to the base ticket price for each show and are reflected in the tickets totals listed. PLEASE NOTE, SINGLE TICKETS ARE NOT AN OPTION. Final ticket price is per pair only.

Muy Importante! TO ORDER YOUR TICKETS, PLEASE INCLUDE AN INDEX CARD WITH YOUR FULL NAME, MEMBER NUMBER, SHOW DATE AND CITY, FOR EACH SHOW YOU WISH TO ATTEND. ON THIS INDEX CARD, PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR TICKET CONFIRMATION LETTER MAILED TO YOU (INCLUDE MAILING ADDRESS) OR EMAILED TO YOU (INCLUDE EMAIL ADDRESS). If nothing is specified we will email your ticket confirmation.

Please send this information, along with your money order payment, to:

TEN CLUB TICKETS
(insert show date and city)
PO BOX 4570
SEATTLE WA 98104
USA

Muy Importante! YOU MUST SEND AN INDIVIDUAL PAYMENT AND INDEX CARD FOR EACH SHOW. YOU MUST WRITE THE SHOW YOU ARE REQUESTING TICKETS FOR ON THE OUTSIDE OF EACH ENVELOPE. In other words, each ticket payment for every show you will be attending must be in a separate, individual envelope. If multiple payments are grouped together in one envelope, you risk not getting the tickets you requested. However, if you are sending your multiple payments Priority/Overnight, then you may include all individual envelopes with your separate payments, in one FEDEX (or other mail carrier) envelope.

Muy Importante! EACH PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AS A U.S. MONEY ORDER ONLY. IF YOU ARE PURCHASING TICKETS FOR MULTIPLE SHOWS, EACH PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITH A SEPERATE MONEY ORDER. No other form of payment will be accepted. If you send in a check or credit card number, your payment will be returned and you will lose your chance for tickets. Please make the money order payable to “Ten Club” and please include your full name, show date and city on each money order.

Since you are allowed to attend as many shows as you like, the ticket holds will be on a “first come, first serve” basis. We are allotted a certain amount of tickets for fan club members at each venue, so once they are sold out, that’s it! We can guarantee nothing, but we will accommodate you as best we can. Under the circumstances that the show(s) you wish to attend is full, we will return your funds.

Muy Importante! YOUR PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 11TH 2002. IF YOUR PAYMENT IS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE, WE WILL RETURN YOUR PAYMENT AND NO TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED. PLEASE NOTE, PAYMENTS MUST BE IN OUR HANDS BY FEBRUARY 11TH, SO MAKE SURE TO ALLOW FOR DELIVERY TIME.

Once your payment is processed, we will mail or email a confirmation number to you. Please indicate which method you would like on the index card included with your payment. This confirmation letter will be your temporary ticket and you will need to present it when you pick up your tickets at the box office. So, don’t lose it!

If you have not received your confirmation number one week before the show date for which you ordered tickets, please contact tickets@tenclub.net. Please write “NO CONFIRMATION” in the subject line so we can identify you properly. Briefly explain your situation in the body of the email and include your full name and a telephone number where you can be reached.

Please do not call or email us in an effort to determine whether we have received your payment. Due to the volume of mail, it will be impossible to locate your payment. Once your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation letter. The fewer questions we receive in regards to your tickets, the quicker we will process your ticket order. Please trust that we will take care of you and your tickets.

Muy Importante! TO RECEIVE YOUR TICKETS, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND A VALID PHOTO ID TO THE TEN CLUB TICKET WINDOW, AT THE VENUE BOX OFFICE, ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. NO TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND VALID ID. No exceptions. Tickets will not be distributed prior to the show date, to avoid any scalping issues with fan club tickets.

Seat selection will be based upon seniority in the club; meaning the longer you have been in the club, the closer your seats will be to the front of the stage. The Ten Club reserves the “best seats in the house” for 10c members. These seats will be on the floor from the front row, extending back. You will not be notified of your seat selection until the day of the show, when you receive your tickets. Please note, seat selection will be effected by the popularity of the show. Meaning, if you choose to attend a show in a bigger city, your seat selection may not be as close as expected. But if you choose a city that is not as popular, your chances for getting seats closer to the stage are greater.

The Ten Club ticket window at the venue box office will open at 3pm on the day of each show, unless otherwise posted. We will post these specific box office times in the NEWS section of www.tenclub.net. Early arrival to the box office will not improve the quality of your seats, as seat selection will be predetermined. However, please don’t wait until show time to pick up your tickets, as there will be a line and you may miss part of the show. AND ALSO REMEMBER, THE TEN CLUB TICKET WINDOW WILL CLOSE 15 MINUTES AFTER PEARL JAM TAKES THE STAGE.

Questions or concerns regarding your fan club tickets can be directed to tickets@tenclub.net. Or you may call the Pearl Jam hotline 206/728-7078 for more information.

Whoa, so the road trip's going to be a little pricy. Ticketbastard prices for the Canadian shows were cheaper than these ones.

Now I'm trying to determine if I'd get better seats for Toronto with 10C or Ticketbastard tix. I joined in 2000, so I'd be behind all the senior members on the floor, and the tix would be more expensive. Ticketbastard tix would be slightly cheaper, and maybe I'd get lucky with some seats on the side. It's just less of a hassle with the 10C - you order all your tix and you know you have them - otherwise, you're gambling with Ticketbastard.

One more thing, what's with the difference in pricing between cities?

well, it would seem that I'm fucked cause everyone and their cousin is gonna want tix to the Vancouver show and I'm dead fucking broke until next Friday. seeing that it's first come first serve looks like yet again I'll be fucked out of ten-club tix. why do I belong to the ten-club? presently it appears that I've been paying dues for jack shit. must be nice for all the long time members that can be front row for every show. looks like I'm sitting at home this tour.:bored:

what is a money order?

jamijams
01-24-2003, 05:16 PM
babye savings account. hello money order line
pris, don't be so down - that kind of thinking will get you nowhere. keep in mind, mail from bham to Seattle is going to get there Ahellofalotfaster than mail from accross the country, or even California.

csmooth24
01-24-2003, 05:36 PM
a money order is a check you buy from the bank or post office...you can only pay with cash or check...no credit cards...

prism
01-24-2003, 05:38 PM
thanks for the thought jami. I get mail from Florida faster than mail from Seattle....it's something to do with mail to and from B'ham has to be processed thru Everett:cross: along with the fact that theres no way for me to get a money order in the mail until next Friday. and I'm betting that 95% of the PNW ten-club people will already have theirs in. since ticketmonster has their messed up 8 % fan-club rule that leaves me eating dust.

I'm just pissed that since they aren't playing Seattle that they didn't do ten-club seating for the December shows.

does anyone know when the ticketbastard tix go on sale?

The way they handled this is stupid. They are giving us such a short amount of time to come up with so much money. :(

does anyone know where to find your membership number?

quintastic
01-24-2003, 06:29 PM
it's in the consume/goods section. you can also find out your membership number there, if you have an e-mail address registered with them. just click on login and forgot my password. put in your e-mail address and they'll e-mail you your membership number. your membership number should also be on the mailing label of your last newsletter, if you still have the envelope.

Fuck. US money orders are totally expensive.
$79 USD = $119.977 CAD

$120 CAD = $60 per ticket. ($79 = $39.50 USD per ticket)

Plus, there's a $3.50 s/c the post office charges, plus the extra expense of buying an 'Xpress Post" mailing pack to ensure it doesn't get held up for a long time at the border. (Probably near $10.)

206-728-7078 - have they actually updated it from 4 years ago?

All the PNW folk coming up may not affect me too much, since I've got 8 years of membership under my belt, but I bet some PNW folk are 9, 10 years in, and I'll be stuck in the middle behind a sea of tall people.

_sysiphus_ ~ As far as the difference in ticket prices are concerned, I think it has to do with venue rental costs and local crew hiring costs. It'll be cheaper in places like Kentucky than NY. I'd prefer to pay the $46 CAD per and take a chance with The Bastard, too.

edit - then there's the fact that I have all of $0.57. No savings, nothing.

I'm definatly not a fan of this method of payment. First off, there should be a time limit on each show, rather than putting it all down at one date...A) it's harder for us to come up with all that money and B) they are going to get swamped...

It almost seems illogical really. Yeah, its nice that we get to order tickets for any and all of the shows that we would like...but for most of us...give us at least a few weeks ahead of each show..rather than putting it all up...

I thought I was goin to hit a bunch of shows...but I don't know...I'm hoping that I can get some help...Mere wants to go to MSG..

and if Dom doesn't get his membership squared away...hopefully maybe he and I could get it together and pay half of each...

we'll see

but I'm not too happy about the way it's like: Okay, order tickets and pay for them! quick! hurry! no time to waste!...

hmph

and I hate complaining about the guys

i think it is BS that you HAVE to buy 2 tickets...what if 3 people are travelling together...

FOR ALL THOSE PLANNING MULTIPLE SHOWS:if you can only afford a few right now...use your ten club tix for outdoor venues..that way you get seats...and most seats in amphitheaters are pretty good....
....on the other hand....floor seats that arent very close suck...for indoor arenas...ticketmaster tix will probably be better...and you have time to save for them...

:dead: all the shows i am planning are SO expensive...$100 for san francisco!

I hurried up to the post office before they closed about an hour ago and sent in my money order for the st.paul,mn show on june 16th. $80 smacker's gone just like that, plus i sent it out priority mail for another $3.85
It wouldn't pay to send it next day delivery, because it would show up there saturday and they probably wouldn't even be there then to accept it.
With priority, they should get it by monday.Tuesday at the latest.
I know it doesn't matter how quick you get the payment to them, because ticket's are given out by seniority, but i just wanted to make sure i got ticket's to the show i wanted, since they only have about 8% fan club ticket's to give to us member's.
That's why i sent it priority.Just to be sure.
This will only be the 4th time in 13 year's that they have performed here.92 at First Avenue,92 Lollapalooza,98 at Target Center and now at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul (It is known as one of the greatest arena's in the country) and is home to the Minnesota Wild NHL Hockey Team.It is such a breathtaking arena to see in person.State of the Art.My new favorite place to see show's in the twin citie's now.And the acoustic's are phenominal.
I can't wait for this show!!!
The Money Order is in the mail.

chris:)...you said in a previous post: "a money order is a check you buy from the bank or post office...you can only pay with cash or check...no credit cards"

i saw "check" and thought i could pay by personal check...but it's literally no personal checks...no cash...no credit cards....
money orders only....
Please make the money order payable to “Ten Club” and please include your full name, show date and city on each money order.

well this sure makes it easy for me
to determine which show to go to...
given the time frame, min 2 tickets per show
required...and the ability
to scrape together the funds...
i'm going to hit only one show....
the detroit show...

weird way to do things...
maybe it's just me.
i'm weird.

good luck everyone...

well, i'll tell ya...i just put together 4 orders to be sent out tomorrow...and i feel like i just did my friggen taxes!!!!!!!!!

it took me most of this evening! i think i drove the poor bank teller nuts making sure that i was getting the correct type of money order (not a bank check)(that IS a u.s. money order, right?), then back home to read the directions, fill out the envelope, card, money order (and i sure hope that i am the remitter- what ever the f that is), first born child (ah, she wont mind ;)), blood sample, eye scan, toe print, then read the directions again to make sure i took the blood sample from the correct organ!

christ! im not that smart!!! have pitty on me 10club!!!!

I don't want to complain either, but why didn't they send this out through the mail? I wouldn't think it safe to assume that every ten club member has internet access. If I didn't see this on this board tonight, I wouldn't have known about it for quite a while as I don't go to the ten club site very often. The people without the internet are at a big disadvantage, as they make it sound like its important to get your request in as fast as possible.

The fact that you can attend any show on the tour with ten club tickets is very cool, but I hope that I don't get shut out of the MSG shows because tons of people from all parts of the country will want tickets to that show. The next closest venue for me would be way out of the way, as compared to a half-hour train ride. And what if I get my NYC requests sent back because there were too many requests and I didn't get lucky? I don't have the money to mail for a bunch of back-up plans. God forbid I did get tickets for all of them - my bank account would bounce.

Well, just have to hope for the best.

$946.00 - is what it would cost me for tickets to all the shows i would go to if i could - and that doesn't include roadtrip expenses, airfare, lodging, incidentals.....i mean, geez, i love this band just like any fan, and i don't have even close to some of the expenses some of you do (like college and stuff)....there's just no fricken way to pull it off. shoot me but i have to say that it's just not worth going in debt to see them more than once this time around.....

and these instructions! i feel weird about this too. and i'm pretty detailed, overly so, in an obsessive-compulsive way. yet it took me a while to read over the specific instructions to "get it" and make sure i did everything right. i thank the copier gods for my printer/copier next to me, i can run a copy of what i sent, so i can have back up of what i did, just in case. i'll hit the bank tomorrow morning, post office is right next door to that...and i'm taking the entire printout in hand so i know i'm doing it right...(i feel so DUMB)....

and yes, i agree about this coming over the wires instead of the mail route. some people view email from work...maybe they're off for the weekend, or taking a vacation, how bout them? specially since time is of the essence. if memory serves, i *thought* it was stated that "ticket buying information" would be mailed/included with the soon-to-be-sent out newsletter????

can you IMAGINE the mail room at tenclub???
sheer insanity.......incoming, outgoing....wow.

and no way do i want to sound bitchy but this seems like some heavy restrictions this time. good goin to those who are seeing more than one show and can a) afford to do so b) can organize their paperwork correctly and c) mail it all in as directed.

i'll go away now. i'm in too truthful a mood. sorry :|
good luck everyone...again :)

the thing that has me scared is that by the time they receive my money order(we're talkin at least 10 days here) I'm sure that it'll be way too late for 10 club tix for the Vancouver show. so that means that in a few weeks-months they will(fingers crossed) send me back my money. I'm guessing that by the time that happens that tix will have already gone on sale thru ticketmonster and I will be fucked out of seeing the show AT ALL.:disapp:

Holy crap!

Brain overload. I've got lots to do tomorrow/this weekend. Plus I gotta get a hold of my cousin and ask for her half back.....

4 shows= $346.00

Camden alone was $93. Crikey!

This is way too much too soon, and its gonna wipe out my bank account. My credit cards will just have to bear the minimum payment for awhile. We only just found out about these days yesterday for goodness sakes, and if you're a day late with the payment.. whoops, sorry, outta luck. That kinda blows.
