Totally Way Excited..

Timetables for the Big Day Out have just been put up.. I can start planning my day!! It's gonna be fucking excellent.. It's a good line up & I'm way looking forward to seeing Millencolin (again), Queens (I'm still taking the camera Om!!), Jane's Addiction (love Perry) & Foo Fighters (Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!)

But as always I'm going to have to make some big decisions about who I'm going to miss seeing in order to see someone else.. It's all too hard & NOT FAIR!! Do I see The Vines or Jimmy Eat World?? Do I forgo Jebediah to catch the Deftones??

Only 23 days to go..

wow...FUN!!! i am JEALOUS!!!

i have seen Jimmy live and they sound great! fun show...but i would love to see the vines as well...tough call..

you have to see the deftones LIVE!!! ROCKIN SHOW!!! (but i admit ive never heard of Jebediah )

Jebediah are a pretty kick ass Oz band who put on a great show everytime.. I think I'll be seeing the Deftones tho, seen as I can catch the Jeb's on their frequent Oz tours.. I'm pretty positive my buddy Ashley will be dragging me along to the Deftones with him..
I really wanna see Machine Gun Fellation (another Oz band), their show's are amazing, totally cool, but I've seen them twice in the last 12 months and they clash with Jane's Addiction so there's really no contest there..
As for JEW & the Vines I think I'll have to wait til the day & see what mood I'm in..

i WOULD DEFINITELY skip the vines and see jimmy eat world. they are excellent live and it's hard to tell if the real vines, or the fighting grape vines will show up.

the vines put on a good show (i had a great time when i saw them last month) but unfortunately the music isn't necessarily what makes it a good show...craig is usually insane and screaming instead of putting some time and thought into his singing, which is disappointing, but the rest of the band is groovin and craig certainly creates an intense environment...myself, i'm not much of a jimmy eat world fan...so as to what show to attend, it depends on what your lookin for...

I'm seen some very insane gigs in my time.. But I don't think the Vines are going to provide the kind of insane I'm looking for.. We'll see what happens.. I think I'll write to the organisers & ask them to Swap one of the above mentioned bands to the Machine Gun Fellatio slot & life would be bloody grand!!

my experience with jimmy eat world is FUN and the lead singer, can't think of his name right now, can flat out sing and you can GROOVE your ass off.
