Muhahahahahahahaahah
So THIS is what it is like for all of you wee-day working people! So just how much CAN you minimize a screen anyway? /images/laugh.gif
Those of you who are practiced in the art of deception have any hints for me?

you must develop your "trigger finger"...practive over your lunch hour minimizing in order to maximize your minimizing potential. It's also important to have a keen ear...listen for clanging change in the pocket, keys, and the like. Clicking shoes are also a good indicator someone is coming....

my back, and consequently my computer screen faces my dad/boss every time he walks behind me which is often seeing as his office is next to my desk. So I am pretty much open as well....Practice makes perfect...

then dearie it's all about how you position yourself compared to your screen! in my digital art class i usually minimize my screen off to one side and kinda lean while resting my head on my hand to hide the screen from view. ya know what i'm talking about?
also, ya know those thingys at the top of your screen, like where it shows the address you're at? squish 'em all into one or two bars so that you can utilize more of your screen.

you just gotta let your "superiors" that YOU are in charge...and you will do whatever the fuck you want to!
or...to be more safe...have something open (but minimized) that is work related and "maximize" it when you feel the need to look busy...or when someone is watching you...this works for me...

Hey thanks for all the tips you guys! One thing tho... I need reasons to be on the computer in the first place... my job during the week doesn't require it as much as on the weekend... so it's pretty obvious when I am doing something I shouldn't be!
I'm home for lunch now... feeling free!!!

We 'hot desk' in my office cause mostly we are out on site with clients. I have my back to the room, but my boss is mostly doing the same thing as me, so I am covered in that respect.....and the Japanese staff would not say boo to a goose.....
