Tonight's show at the Showbox:
soundcheck: Thumbing My Way, Daughter, Elderly Woman, Off He Goes, Ghost x2, Rearviewmirror, Last Exit, Bu$hleaguer, Don't Believe in Christmas (The Sonics) x 2
setlist: Elderly Woman, Off He Goes, Thumbing My Way, Thin Air, Breakerfall, Green Disease, Corduroy, Save You, Ghost, Cropduster, I Am Mine, Love Boat Captain, Gods' Dice, 1/2 Full, Daughter/War (Edwin Starr), You Are, Rearviewmirror
encore: Bu$hleaguer, Insignificance, Better Man, Do The Evolution, Yellow Ledbetter
encore 2: Soon Forget, Don't Believe in Christmas (The Sonics)
notes:
- Bu$hleaguer featured Ed in a Bush mask; Do the Evolution - Ed in a Bill Gates mask.
- Ed used a uke tonight for Soon Forget that was in the shape of a telecaster ;) Apparently someone gave it to him.
- War, the Daughter Tag, ("war... what is it good for... absolutely nothing") was very intense, followed up by a "fuck"-filled anti-war rant.
- Ed talked about his neighbors being there... and apologized for his three dogs shitting in their yard.
- A wonderful performance by the boys =)
(Thanks Srikant/Sheri/Kyle/etc!)

DAMN! That is some set!
what a set!
i only hope on this tour that they decide to play a lot off of "riot act" and go less heavy on the jukebox tunes such as "corduroy," "jeremy" and "alive" - it was great to read about the re-emergence of "blood"
as long as they go out on tour with some set staples i will be happy...
