i know it is tomorrow...but since i work tomorrow, i am having it today...cooking all day....one of my good friends is coming over later...she moved here from seattle 2 weeks before i did, and doesnt have thanksgiving plans either...
....and i admit it...i went to butterball.com to make sure i was doing it right....lol
i called my mom to ask her about the potatoes....and we talked for awhile. that was nice.
cara, if you read this....please do what you need to do to not only keep your sanity, but to also maintain a relationship with your dad.
all my life, i had been closer to my dad than my mom....but as i have gotten older, my mom has become one of my best friends. i am so thankful (see my holiday is today) that neither one of us said or did anything that would have cut us off from each other completely.
