What are your favorite weasel and Heisman songs?
First, to clarify for those unfamiliar with the terms:
A Weasel Song (WEE-zul song) n. 1. A song that you play in hopes your significant other (or the chick at the end of the bar you keep staring at) will hear and subsequently want to have sex with you. Weasel songs, however, often have the undesired effect of making the person simply want to have sex with whoever is SINGING ths song. 2. Song played by one classified as a weasel -can be male or female in extreme, rare cases. 3. Much more common than the rarer Heisman Song.
Heisman Song: (HI-zmun song) n. 1. A song played, generally, for the reverse effect of the weasel song. 2. Named in relation to the body position of the famous Heisman Trophy. 3. Song played for a significant other who is either no longer significant or seriously pissing you off (Or the chick at the end of the bar who you wish would stop staring at you). 4. A song which, despite its somewhat rude meaning, is cleverly disguised as a love song.
Now... my favorite weasel and Heisman songs:
Pearl Jam weasel song: Throw Your Arms Around Me (obviously)
Non-Pearl Jam weasel songs: In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel and Say Goodbye by Dave Matthews (perhaps the best there will ever be... "tomorrow we'll go back to being friends")
Pearl Jam Heisman song: Can't think of any. They are rare, after all.
Non-PJ Heisman song: Say Hello, Wave Goodbye by David Grey (You’re used to wearing less, and now your life’s a mess, so insecure you see,
I put up with all the scenes, this is one scene that’s goin to be played my way)
