i saw a riot act tv commercial just now... it was a part of the "I Am Mine" video they shot at Chop Suey! in early September. it was pretty cool, totally unexpected.. but the best part was at the end where it comes up and says "Pearl Jam's Riot Act, in stores November 12th at TARGET"... i definitely didn't expect it be a partisan target commercial...but anyway. i know that's sony's business, not PJ's.
on a different note, i got tickets this morning to both december shows. i was quite happy. (section 113 the first night, 215 the second, for those who care). i just found out that the local "alternative" station, KNDD, is playing pearl jam all day today. how nice. i found it a little funny that three (3!) stations were giving away tickets to the shows next month, even though there's only one that ever plays even a small selection of PJ, and that which they do play is the Ten-era stuff (with the exception of the newest single off of each album).
