How the hell are ya's!?

Sorry I haven't been around in like forever. It took some time to get used to this new format, plus my new job has been picking up.

Probably this week it'll slow to my work related injury. A steel bar of an empty rolling rack(for those not in the retail world, its a big rack with wheels to put articles of clothing on to transport around the store), came dislodged from its bolts and smashed into my right index finger. OUCH! I have to go to the company doctor tomorrow to assess the damage. I can move it alittle, its not bruised. I can move it less then an inch from my bottom knuckle and thats about it. And I get a pins and needles feel in it when I touch stuff. I cant start my car or tie my shoes. It's amazing how one hurt finger can totally fuck up your daily routine.

I had a job, then I lost it. (It, too, involved rolling racks.)
I went to a video shoot.
I was briefly on Much Music as part of said shoot's coverage.
Going to Nanaimo in 2 weeks.

sorry about your finger....glad about your job:cool: i am unemployed no longer either, as i have substitute teacher'd (is that a word?) for two whole days now :D

this format does take a while to figure out...but glad you are here (although it must be difficult to type with the bad finger :( i know what you mean, though. i got this really bad paper cut on one of my fingers last week and just washing my hair, tyeing my sneakers, even putting sandwiches in a baggie was a pain in the butt :angry:

My finger just turned out to be a sprain, thank goodness. But I stil cant move it very well. The Dr. forced it to bend today just to say "see it can bend" and now it hurts like a bastid.

Other then that Ive been doing okay. Its hockey season, Im making money, and its almost time for the Pearl Jam bonanza. :)
