View Full Version : A note about Private Messages

Howdy!

I'm sure some of you have noticed you are unable to receive any private message since they new board was put into place. The reason for this is there is I have imposed a limit on the number of PMs you can have stored. That number is 100. So, you can only have 100 PMs to your name. If you have more any new ones will not get sent. Many of you are under this limit, but several of you have many hundreds.

I hate having to do this to y'all, but having so many messages really slows the system down. While I want you guys to be able to have as much fun as possible I think 100 messages is a fair limit on PMs. If you want to have extended discussions you should be using e-mail anways.

sounds fair to me...
I'm using my old screen name (the newer version was "panther-girl" - I'm very creative)
so I only have 4 very old messages in my file.
what I am saying is....you are welcome to send me pm's to fill up my mailbox ;)

well, I just deleted 650 of them....sad to say that they are gone...there were alot of good ones, but if it is slowing stuff down it was time to get them to the trash....

i cant believe i just did that, i never and i mean never, throw out old emails or pms....mean ole smirks :chinese: ...*sniff* i think i just grew.....lighter....:cross:
