Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you've never been
But all the things that you've seen
They slowly fade away
So I'll start a revolution from my bed
'Cuz you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out
And so, Sally can wait
She knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows
If it's not our day
Please don't put your life in the hands
Of a rock and roll band
And throw it all away
I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed
'Cuz you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, 'cuz summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
'Cuz you ain't ever gonna burn my heart out
And so, Sally can wait
She knows it's too late as she's walking on by
My soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
So, Sally can wait
She knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
At least not today.

oasis was my eighth grade obsession
they are assholes, but some of their music is good. they tend to rip themselves off now though. its sort of funny.
you say that midnight opens it's arms to me...

I'm a big Oasis fan. and I find it really hard to take anything they say too seriously. they're always good for a chuckle in interviews, so I hope they continue acting like dicks.
"Little By Little" on their new album is such a great song. it's definitely one of my favourites by them.

I found this song. I can't remember who sings it, what it's called, or if these are the exact lyrics (part of them), but I remember the video (vaguely) and I remember I liked this part of the song the best.
I met God this afternoon
Riding on an uptown train and I said..
"Don't you have better things to sell?"
"If I did my job what would you complain about?
So I let it go to hell.
Now I got something to do..."
He said "I let it go to hell...
does that sound familiar to you?"
Chorus: When everything falls apart
Then I get to try to put it back together
when it falls apart
you can count on that, count on that.
Do any of you remember this one???
