yeah i saw that...absolutely THE finest live performance SNL's had...
would've loved to see the people behind the scenes with their jaws
dropped open at the intensity of it all...

nice to see the guys gravitate towards phil hartman at the end..
if they had known then what they know now...

isn't it funny, that even though i have that SNL performance and
the others on tape, i still find myself planted in front of the
telly each and evertime it's on...

Yup, me too. And the coolest thing about it is that PJ is incorporated into the show twice... in the monologue -Ed's face when Sharon's crossing and uncrossing her legs while she says "Pearl Jam is here!" is absolutely hilarious... then Operaman singing about questioning his sexuality when he looks at Ed...
