I don't know about you, but the singer for the Crash Test Dummies has a fucking cool ass voice. He does a great job with it, and I like it.

Anyone else? They aren't the greatest band in the world, but I don't think they're that bad either.

they played the 12 m song to death here-but the rest of the album is also the shit-very unique voice-there is a song on the album-i think number 3-that is just absolutely fabulous and fun

Brad Roberts does have a cool voice. I used to be able to sing that low. I still can if I warm up enough and attach my portable testicle.
Crash Test Dummies had something good for a while there, but then things got really weird. Brad was taking their live show to new lows. On what ended up being their last tour, I head stories of a very drunk Roberts (in spandex shorts over sweat pants) screwing up the songs big time, humping the mike stand, and making really lewd coments (not sure if they were directed at audience members). People actually wrote the The Province newspaper about their show in Vancouver. Apparently, attitude-wise, they've always had it in them as a band. I was watching Much Music and saw a commercial for an upcoming episode of The New Music and Ellen Reid looked into the camera and said, "Stay in school, kids. Learn to masturbate." There's nothing wrong with that, but to hear it from a member of a generally upbeat pop group that has songs called "Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm," "Peter Pumpkinhead," and "Superman's Song" was kind of odd.

"God Shuffled His Feet" is a kick ass song, though.
