Okay, now I feel bad...


about 2 months ago, a buddy of mine told me that he met Ed on a beach in Hawaii and that he had a mohawk. I didn't believe him because this kid usually tells the greatest lies known to man. So i didn't even post it on here cuz I thought it was just a nice big fib. Anyway, seeing that the story must be true, I'll tell ya the rest of what he said.

He was walking on the beach at dawn, and had a 6 pack and he was just going to walk around, smoke a joint and drink. He saw this guy (with a mohawk) sitting on the beach having a smoke. So he just went up to the guy and asked him if he wanted a beer, the guy said "sure." So he sits down, talks about surfing (there was a big surfing contest going on) and then realized that it was Ed. He talks to him about how much he really loved the DVD adn shit. And Ed said thanks. They talked for about 20 minutes, and then my buddy got up and left. He said Ed was pretty blized, though he didn't want any smokey smokey.

Well, sorry to my pal for not believing him.

A friend of mine has a similar story from 1998 when he met Ed in Hawaii. Ed was on the beach playing guitar with a bunch of buddies. He was totally smashed but really nice. Jesse asked if he could take a picture of him. Ed said no but he would draw one for Jesse, which he did appearantly. anyway, Ed's friends invited Jesse to go play pool with them later that night. Unfortunately, Jesse didn't og, what a dork!

I know two stories don't exactly = "all the time" but did anyone else notice that in both of these Hawaii stories Ed was supposedly drunk? I dunno, him on a beach alone drunk just kinda makes me sad. Unless he was having a really good time on his own... in which case I suppose I should be happy for him... but something about that strikes me as sad.
