the economy sux right now everywhere.A company here called Fingerhut just announced they are closing for good and 4000 people will now be jobless.
Great news huh?Plus 3M here is cutting loose 1000 people also.

Bummer. Sorry Smirks. That bites. Always hard to see your buds go. Hopefully something better will turn up for her. I know when ppl leave a place of employ and you're still left there, it leaves one w/ a sense of quandry themselves, like, what am I gonna do damn next? Should *I* go? Or maybe that's just me. Well, viva la email and keeping in touch. I'm still in touch w/ some ex-co-workers. Some I haven't even seen in a couple years at least. Kinda weird--but that's what's nice about computers--keeps ya' connected. So to speak. /images/smile.gif
