Um, so far I'm listening to the rain on the window. However, I figure I will turn on a little Van Morrison in a bit.

is that the same thing as Philly #45? /images/smile.gif if so, that's what i've been listening to during lunch. i just put in side b. i love the part in betterman about half way through when they take it down nice and quiet and then ed starts back in "don't runaway. why'd you have to runaway..." /images/smile.gif

i was listening to "Gold" by Ryan Adams before this.

I've been listening to Pete Yorn today...
trying to clean the house a bit and had the cd on repeat so I could get a good listen.
I caught about half of the cd ... between phone calls and exterminator and mom stopping by... I think it's pretty good :)

I bought The The's Mind Bomb yesterday so I'll be jammin' to that later on. I like buying albums on faith. The process has done well for me.

*I* am listening to Pete Yorn today too! I'm still trying to figure out this one.... most of the songs i really like- Life on a Chain really gets me boppin... but track 4... what is it... Black? i don't like it... well maybe i do, but I've only listened to this one at work and i immediately have to forward it because it's so hard core... doesn't seem to fit with most of the album, ya know? and then there is one song where i swear he sounds like the Creed guy, whatever his name is. kinda weird. I like On Your Side too.

ok, I realize that I'm not P-girl but I must say, you are CRAZY, /images/crazy.gif you think that "Closet" sounds like the creed dude??? huh, I don't pick that up at all in that song, I love it(I'm walking around your closet, I want you to say my name again)....oh, and it took awhile but "Black" has really grown on me....the only track that I skip is #5, I think that "Lose You" is just too depressing

hey sand :)
I have to go back and listen again...
I can probably concentrate on the whole thing better in the car...which is what I'll do tomorrow.
But what I heard as I scrubbed a shower, I like.
I wish I woulda seen the guy when he was in town a few months ago. damn.

(not that anyone cares, but I'm avoiding work right now /images/tongue.gif)

Now i'm listening to R.E.M.'s "Green" album. Per a discussion I had with a co-worker, any R.E.M. from "Green" and forward is considered 'new' and therefore not as good as 'old' R.E.M. I was like, okay? (By 'original' fans of the band, that is.) Old timers consider "Green" R.E.M.'s selling-out point, when they left I.R.S. and signed with Warner.

I like this album a lot. I only bought it a few weeks ago actually, mainly to hear R.E.M.'s version of 'The Wrong Child'. (Atlanta 2000 tag to Daughter and probably other times.) There is so much music out there that I haven't heard yet. I hope to hear it all before it's over.
