...because I get to swing on by to see whassup with you guys. I guess everyone is out doing last minute Christmas shopping, trimming the tree, sloggin' some nog, & generally plunging their generous selves into bankruptcy to make everyone so fucking happy. Now, I like to exchange gifts like the next person, but dammit, I HATE malls & the whole fake package of the season.
'twas a time, not long ago, when homemade gifts were just the ticket. However, when you're at work, the minutes are precious & few to create something unique. So, we decided to just send a few bucks to all the nieces in a card. Hope it doesn't seem thoughtless to do that. But the kids can get what they want then. Sigh.......
I had the greatest dream last night. Lying on my sun lounge, soaking up some rays, listening to some tunes & sucking on a...nice cold drink. The way I deal with these cold winter days subconsciously, I guess...
How about writing some more Pearl Jam related Christmas carols?? Okay, something like this:

A beautiful sight
