Those of you in a band can realy appreciate this. It'll piss everyone off, but you especially.

My step-dad plays in a rock-n-roll cover band. They keep all of their equipment in a trailer they hook-up to the drummer's minivan. Drums, lights, the PA system, keyboards, everything you would need for a small band. The trailer was stolen earlier this week. The drummer kept it behind his house, not hitched to anything, and someone hooked-up to it and drove off. These 3 guys have been playing music together since they were teenagers, always in a band. Not enough money to live on but enough for some extra cash. And definately doing what they love so that in itself rocks. I think the only things that were saved were their guitars. And that would realy piss my dad off. He just got a new Gibson last year (I think) and his other one he's had for a long-assed time. Guitar freak since he was 6.

That is why I hate theives /images/mad.gif /images/mad.gif /images/mad.gif

And keep him on that bike as much as you can /images/wink.gif
Matter o' fact, teach him to ride and play guitar at the same time. Lance Armstrong AND Mike McCready all-in-one

That SUCKS... but with things that big, most of the stuff may turn up... a similar thing happened to a band here in Albany last year and almost everything was recovered.

I'm not sure how good of records they kept on the stuff; model numbers, serial numbers, etc. Maybe they'll try to sell it on some sort of auction site like eBay or Yahoo auctions. Not sure. I know that if you can sell cars on there then I'm sure you can sell an amp.

If it was hooked up behind the guy's house, it sounds like someone who knew what was in it stole it. Hardly anyone goes around stealing random trailers - if they didn't know waht's in it that would be a lot to go through to find out there was nothing they could sell in it.

So I hope your step-dad is thinking about who might have known that is where the equipment is.

Yeah, I've thought about that. But I live 2 hours from them, so all I know is what my mom told me when she called. Since I'll be seeing them Christmas I'll wait to get more info then.
