Well to start off last night or maybe it was this morning I had this dream, one of those intense ones where you remember most of the details, anyway I don't wanna reveal what it was about other than to say it was about a guy that I have a crush on, anyway ever since I woke up this morning I haven't been able to shake this dream....I'd like to think of it a a premonition....am I a fool to think that this dream could possibly come true?? So my question to y'all is, have you ever had a dream come true??

I will start by saying that many years ago I had a dream about this guy that I had only dated a few times and that we were gonna end up together and have 2 kids with the girl being the elder of the 2 and in the dream the kids were even about 2 years apart....well that dream happened about a year before I got pregnant with my daughter and, 5 months after that we moved in together and 2 and 1/2 years later we had my son....so, even though the guy turned to be a nightmare, there was 2 great things (kids, things same dif) that were shown to me in that dream...okay, the only thing that dream got wrong was that in the dream my kids had curly hair

yes, i do believe that dreams come true. and i think that some people are more aware of this gift then others.

me, i dream about eagles games...no shit...the night before i dream about whether they win or lose, not all the time though - for instance, i didnt have a dream about yesterdays game. and sometimes i see the score and sometimes its more subtle, like the crowd going wild when a certain player makes a really good play (which comes true as well).

two years ago, i was so accurate that my brother in law who bets on games would call me sunday morning. last year, i only had the dreams before a few games.

hope i get em back this year, it makes for a much less stressful sunday /images/wink.gif

and in december, i had these anxiety filled dreams that either me or my children had cancer, but it turned out to be my mother who was diagnosed in january. although when she moved in with us during her treatment, we were all really effected by her illness.

so, yes, pris, i believe that dreams do come true...or maybe its just that part of your brain that *knows* things that is more active when the rest of your brain is asleep, ya know?

yeah, i think they do- i had this dream once about a guy i had a crush on in high school (this was awhile ago) and he was wearing this grey shirt and the next day when i saw him in school he was wearing that same shirt... pretty weird. okay, that's a very insignificant thing to dream about, but it was still weird.

hmmm...I don't know....because I don't think that I have actually had one come true...I do get Deja Vues from time to time...but I don't know if I had actually dreamt them..or I'm just full of poop...but I do think that there are some people who just dream up shit and it comes true...now if I keep "dreaming" about marrying Elizabeth Shue..I would sure hope that comes true...but I know that's not what you meant...hehehe

How about some nice hot dicken's cider?

Pris...
hey man! well...not to go "freaky" on you but, I can't even count the number of dreams I have had come true. Sometimes I dream about people I don't know only for them to appear in my real life. Sometimes it really freaks me out. I dunno know what it means or why it happens..it just does...
so in answer to yuor question...yes...dreams do come true

I'm gonna have to second Sandi here. For example:

-I do NOT want my FEMALE roommate to develop a crush on me and get angry at me for telling her that I don't go that way
-I do NOT want to see polar bears chasing talking carrots/radishes
-I do NOT want the Tony cartoon guy on the frozen pizzas boxes to try to force me to drink blood.
-I do NOT want to be a vampire
-I do NOT want Ed to be my dad (cuz then I'd have issues with thinking of ed as a 'cutie')
-I do NOT want to find my phantom step brother's bloody victims in his closet.

just to name a few.... I have weird-ass dreams.

Although, I do have reoccuring dreams where I find the 'love of my life', but I can never see his face. I'd like the real life version to have a face... faces are a good thing to have.

most of my dreams are allegorical for some deep seated desire or angst...
Its up to you to make it come true.
