I remember back in the day when I lived on the SUNY Albany campus, and one of the girls who swiped our cards at dinner couldn't get them turned the right way, and she would always swipe and swipe and swipe and get all frustrated cause she wanted to do it quick, and we'd laugh our asses off because she was getting so pissed.

And then their was the german lady who guarded the salad bar and waffle maker our freshman year... she would make sure nobody made a mess. Once my roommate didn't follow directions, and put three times more batter in the wafflemaker than he was supposed to, and it went running all out the sides and all over the place, and she started screaming at him in German. We called her the Waffle Nazi.

But I digress.

"NO WAFFLES FOR YOU!!!! GET OUT!!!!!"

tehehehe... I always put too much batter in the waffle maker. It always goes squirting out the sides... so the dining hall people got smart and started putting foil around the bottom.

i used to work at a hotel that had "do-it-your-damn-self" belgian waffles on the continental breakfast buffet...we thought we had it figured out..we had the batter pre-measured in little cups.
seemed to work fine.
one winter morning, we had a tour bus of senior citizens checking out. well, i guess they couldnt see very well. there were 4--(no lie)-- people that picked up the cups and proceeded to drink the batter thinking it was egg nog or orange juice or something.
3 admitted their mistake....the other just put the cup back...she was found out though when the next person in line saw the bright pink lipstick on the cup.
