aaahhhhhhhh!!!! lucky is right....it's about damn time i get to celebrate again. i have been thinking, "how did i make it for such a long time between concerts?(last one was nashville-aug 17)". and it occurs to me that it has been almost a year. time sure is differrent during tours.

dc...or shall i say columbia...my 15 minutes (6 hours?) of being an internet celebrity. apparently, people had seen my pictures with ed and mike and were approaching me like "aren't you that girl?......". i actually got an email after the show from a guy that saw me walking through the lawn and wanted to say hi, but was too nervous and intimidated....lol....i think i am approachable.
the band was in a kind of bad mood...assuming because of whatever happened to make sonic youth not be able to play. but they seemed to come around. mike spotted me and my sign and pointed and nodded at me...(see TB2000, "corduroy"!!!). i was kind of pissed that they STILL didnt play faithfull. come on...7 shows and you would think i would had heard my favorite song by then. i knew the show was almost over and i wasnt gonna hear it AGAIN and then....wait a minute....holy shit!!! THEY ARE PLAYING INDIFFERENCE!!

I remember this show... it was fun. I also hung out at the mall accross the street for a few hours before the show....

One thing I remember big time though was security wouldn't let me in with my camera. Well.... I asked for the head of security, etc and even followed the directions given by the 10c if there's a problem...well, they still wouldn't let me in..... sooo, I ended up sticking the camera in my sock and walking right in a different enterance.

Another thing I remember.... my 17th row seats. /images/smile.gif

in the taping policy under the tour section (easiest way to find is on the site map page) on synergy mentions what kinds of cameras are allowed at concerts as well as taping equipment and what to do if the local security doesn't let you in with it...i'm guessing that's what smirks is referring to

i had my "Hi Mike" sign...the second one....(of course, the first one is framed). no, my sign didnt make the montage...you just see him pointing to me.

and sandi, i forgave him for bugs...i never actually expected him to play it. i just wanted to get a reaction--and i did...ed laughing at it was enough for me.
