I was just looking through Rolling Stone's Top 100 Pop Songs issue. And you won't believe this. Ok, #1 is the Beattles. Yeah, I'll go for that. #2 is the Stones. #10 is The Backstreet Boys! Above Bob Dylan. Above John Lennon! And #25 is Britney Spears! Above David Bowie. Above Eric Clapton! Above Van Halen RrVw! Let me look at the cover again. Oh, I missed that. RS and MTV presents. PJ comes in at #48 with Jeremy, though I might have to guibble that that is a pop song. Now following at #49 is Little Red Corvette. THAT is a great pop song! PJ should cover that. What Dylan tune is Pop? Is it "Everybody must get Stoned"? That's the only thing that resembles pop to me by him?

I have a confession to make.../images/tongue.gif...this summer at the beach, I needed a new pair of sunglasses....and I tried on like a million of the pups.....the ones I liked best were the Rolling Stone brand.......so I bought the friggen' things. They have a little metal RS logo on the arm of the glasses......I figured I would just pop the sucker off to no avail! I'm going to have to use a good plier to ply it off!!!
I feel so BOP-ESQUE with that logo on the side of my head!/images/laugh.gif/images/laugh.gif/images/laugh.gif/images/tongue.gif


the bad part is....I thought no one would notice the logo since it's so small.....but EVERYONE notices it! They say.....COOL! ROLLING STONE SUNGLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....so being the radical shit that I am....I have to say..............NOT COOL!!!!! I saw that too, wicca! Kind of interesting how they chose their selections...it was supposedly based more on record sales and mass appeal rather than musical talent or artistry.
