just had to quote that James Taylor song....I had a good friend who passed away from cancer, and at his funeral, he requested that this song be played....such a comforting thought, that no matter where he is, he still wants everyone to know he is still with us when we need him.....when I feel down, I think of this song, and the message it delivers....I need to pass it on to you now.....

immortal....please, don't let life get you down...yes, we all experience this 'saddening' as you call it....I call it an awakening actually....life can be hard, life can be cruel...that is the cold hard reality...however, there is so much beauty and love in this world...so much beauty and love love in yourself....please don't sell yourself short!

I have a difficult time writing to you, becuz your words intimidate me....they are so beautiful....those words can only come from a beautiful soul....you immortal, are one beautiful person...do not forget that!!

Remember, you got a friend...in fact you've got a lot of friends here...we are all here to support you...please don't hide behind a mask, let it all out...we will not let you down...and if you look around, you will be surprised just how many good people there are in this world all around you...don't let the few bad ones get you down....there is too much good out there....too much love just waiting to be found!

and Immortal......I have to echo everything she said.....it's especially difficult when you're young.....as you get older, things will be in more a perspective....it doesn't invalidate what you were feeling as a young adult...it just gives you more insight in the ways of the world.
Please feel better, and Yes, there is so much beauty in the world.....we just have to focus on it to make it come into view clearly.
There is a book that I had to read for one of my photography classes years ago, it's called.."Zen and the Art of Seeing". It's mainly about going beyond the exterior of things and SEEING the beauty....really seeing, you know?
I originally thought it was very pretentious of my instructor to have us read it.....sort of like, "Oh....how heavy and deep....Zen and the Art of Seeing"...I was such a cynic in my youth, but you know what? She was right! I'm still learning from those words all of these years later!

Your post has such emotion within it. Im
glad you can write your feelings to us though.
You see it as sad but i see you able to feel, and
though you don't see us, we are real people.
I have found that writing for me is such a
process that is neccisary for me to deal with
emotions.
Im sorry about your friend. Look ahead and
