Smirks...What's up with the PM's at Synergy?

I just finished reading that thread about Private Messages NOT being private at all at Synergy.....
Wow.......that sucks.../images/tongue.gif
I don't understand how any of that stuff works, and I don't want to.....but
If we delete our privates.....(that doesn't sound right...../images/laugh.gif)....but seriously, if we delete our privates, will that erase them from whatever server,data base whatever the hell it is?
will that prevent them from being read by anyone that can get into it?
You have computer knowledge and said it was no problem to get into the server to read, even though you couldn't tell who they were from, you could read all of the text in the messages?????
Wow.............That is ALARMING!!!!
From now on........I'm going the old fashoined e-mail route.......

if you delete them they won't be in the database, therefore they won't be seen by anyone. Not even the prying eyes.

I've just finished deleting all of my Privates'....some beautiful people have written to me, with very personal thoughts and I would hate for any stranger to be gazing at those words.
