I wasn't sure I was a Neil Young fan when I heard this song about 7 years ago (maybe longer).
It is from the movie Philadelphia, and it really touched me a long time ago. On TNT tonight
they are showing some "new classics" and Philadelphia happened to be on and I was reintroduced
to this song. I don't think that it will have the same effect on you as it had on me, but I
wanted to share it with you all. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes wishing that I could
say it this well. Tell someone you love them tonight, hug them, kiss them. Just let them know
that you care.
Dominic

PHILADELPHIA
--young
Sometimes I think that I know
What love's all about
And when I see the light
I know I'll be all right.

I've got my friends in the world,
I had my friends
When we were boys and girls
And the secrets came unfurled.

City of brotherly love
Place I call home
Don't turn your back on me
I don't want to be alone
Love lasts forever.

Someone is talking to me,
Calling my name
Tell me I'm not to blame
I won't be ashamed of love.

Philadelphia,
City of brotherly love.
Brotherly love.

Sometimes I think that I know
What love's all about
And when I see the light
I know I'll be all right.
Philadelphia.
