I was just watching the dvd on my computer a little while ago....I wonder how many times he flips the bird? Sometimes, when he's singin'....his middle finger just casually goes up ....I don't even think he realises he's doin' it!/images/wink.gif It's got a mind of it's own. In the bonus section, they included this Detroit clip....see....they knew it was a great one too!/images/wink.gif/images/wink.gif....I had this one in my bio for a long time over at Synergy~/images/cool.gif

yeah...this was done at the detroit show, i was there, and i swear you can see the beatnik in this shot...right above the arm with the black wrist band or whatever it is..maybe it isn't him but it sure looks like him...

here's my theory about eddie's middle finger for you to completely disregard:
it's a 'guitar pick holding' thang...apparently eddie has always got a pick between his thumb and first finger, thus leaving his middle finger to do all the work, pointing, gesturing, etc. come to think of it, he apparently is holding a pick in his other hand too and this affliction has not affected anyone else in the band, or in rock and roll for that matter...

one of these days, when i have nothing to do, i'm gonna watch the dvd and keep track of the vedder salutes..i'll report back to you later on my findings..
