hi everyone. it's time for one of my rare posts. bear with me, this will take a little explaining. okay, so some of you may not know where i got my username, so i'll briefly rehash. i go to mizzou and i'm a fan of the b-ball coach quin snyder. i have an article from the school paper that was hanging on my wall that was all about quin snyder's hair. the headline was quintastic, so i decided to use that as my username. okay, back to why that's relevant now. this article appeared in a special section of the newspaper that comes out once or twice a year in which the writers get all crazy and write about irrelevant but interesting things (i.e., the article on quin's hair). well, seeing as how it's the end of the school year and time to move out of my dorm room, i just took the page down off the wall and started reading the articles on the back of it. one of them is about questioning the 'hipness' of our campus radio station. the whole premise of the story is that the radio station accidentally played a song that a frat boy named David Matthews Phan recognized. The quote from the made-up frat boy reads, "To be honest, I only like songs about beer and girls. That indie rock stuff doesn't do it for me. Except for Pearl Jam," he added. "They rock."
