I'm almost afraid to post this on Synergy, someone would probably flame me and tell me I'm ungrateful....so I'll say it here......
No pictures of Camden night one...Sept. 1st....
It was the only show I was at this year..
why did they not put anything up from Camden? They played there 2 nights......
not even a quick tease of a video snippet....

sorry for the digression.....I truly adore all of the work kat and sea put into Synergy (especially these days with all of the bullshit going on there...)....this isn't a complaint....it's just that I'm disapointed I guess....
I was really looking forward to pics from that show....

there was no sitting!!

the chairs were really close together, worse
than a movie so it was hard to get the legs
going but anyway

i've never been that close without watching my back so i was really taking it all in :) but
i mean come on - i can't even stand still to
muzak - i boogie in loblaws - but anyway
i was watching the band the whole time, singing
along at the top of my lungs - great time!

and it's scary when your that close because they can see you too - so every so often you have a blitch of eye contact - which is terrifying, i
blanked on every song i was singing in two seconds

it got to a point where i would just start laughing - happy happy

MEANWHILE - down at my feet is a drink that i've
kicked over i don't know how many times and had to
scramble around on the floor to clean up (lid on
but still leaky - purses, etc) - i even got my
foot wedged under the bar of the chair in front
of me a couple of times

so comes a point where i'm sensing a kind of negative vibe, that eyebrow furl kind of expression - yikes? what that for me? nah!
(must be all in me head, right?)but i gotta
tell you there was a tinge of uncomfortable

so when i read kats comments i kind of figured,
since nobody was sitting and i seemed to
be the only one 'not standing' throughout the
show, that this was me - uberfan rush-into-your-
burning-apartment-to-save-your-goldfish me

and i took it personally

keep in mind i am painfully shy, blame everything
on myself and have an over-active imagination

so i got really pissed and ranted, i didn't think it was fair - and i felt really crushed

ah well - i'm over it!!!! (sort of)
