Oh yeah, Dave A. and the fans ladies and gents...I recognized a couple of peeps in the chat from early day Synergy (those made me proud)....the rest were just random fans....as always, I like to think of PJ fans as more open minded and aware than most other fans, but I have encountered several PJ fans that make me squirm and for the most part make me wonder *why* they are fans in the first place. It's embarrasing really, this chat; it was embarrassing to read. I was embarassed by the PJ fans, and I was embarassed for Dave...I'm glad the PJ chat was pre-censored and the questions were chosen before hand though I know that better questions could have been chosen. Anyways, I know that alot of you had never seen this before so I'm sharing....

I think despite the stupid questions, Dave could have handled it a bit better. But then again, I'm a Jack disciple, and think the departure of Dave, despite his talent, was a good thing for PJ. Dave A. just comes across to me as immature and arrogant, and a better fit for a flashier band like Van Halen or GnR (personality wise) than Pearl Jam.

Wow! I never knew such a sad chat ever existed. Anyway, this transcript reminded me of a couple years back when I saw Dave A. in Denton, TX. He was outside, sitting on a garbage littered sidewalk, feet in the gutter, and stinking DRUNK!! That pretty much sums it up for me!

despite the 'stupidly' played out chat i still have to give dave my nod as best pj drummer. matt comes close but daves style was relentless. he could pound those skins like no ones business and he had the perfect fills for every song. please dont hate me for liking him. its a free world and i'll keep rockin in it :)

it was kinda obvious he was getting a little perturbed with the comments and questions being thrown at him, especially since the chat was supposed to be about drums.
