Mike McCready has 10 fingers on each hand which explains
how unwordly his talent is. Very unfair to those guitarists who only
have the standard 5 fingers or less.
It also explains why his pick throwing often comes up a little short
of it's intended target.
He also made me think of my dad and how much I miss him.

Matt Cameron could keep a beat in a phone booth while still inserting
another $4.50 for a long distance call when the operator instructs
him to do so.

Boom Gaspar is always stoned. and I'm jealous.

Jeff Ament is an extremely underrated musician.

Stone Gossard needs another haircut.

Eddie Vedder is still a punk-ass but he will now be known to me as
the punk-ass who's stage presence is second to none. If I had
an 8th brother then I would like Ed to be it as long as he doesn't
raise his shirt and show me his nipples.

Individually, these guys are special musicians and even more special
people.
Collectively, they just have this chemistry and aura on stage that
makes it so very, very hard to think they are anything but brilliant,
funny, passionate human beings who happen to make beautiful
music together.

and the most important observation from the front row is how special,
generous, big hearted and SMOOTH a certain individual that we all
know and love from here is.

I hear they totally disregard anyone in the first 3 rows anyway.

I think they were probably thinking "crap - let's call the paramedics, that old broad is having some sort of seizure" - and then they moved on to "really, crying, really?? get a grip" - or, as Neil says, who looks at anyone in the front row anyway

I remember being front row for teenage head when I was about 14 or 15 and literally getting our faces smashed in with a guitar, so we tied the lead singers shoe laces together during a ballad when he was trying to look all stoic and deep

it was a treat though, and we had a couple beside us who were just as happy to be there as us and we had a great time with them (did I say treat - seriously - probably because i can't find the word for it)

even Hamilton's 10c tickets were good - we were 8th row in front of mike - U, Push Me, seriously at the same show - sound was bad for all 4 shows - tor 2 ed cut in and out - I kept thinking he was missing his intro and I'd look up and he was singing - hamilton search and destroy was one big muffle - it's why after tor 1 we didn't go in for mudhoney, bass and distortion were so loud that you couldn't even recognize the songs, it actually hurt, and I'm an opening band girl and I like loud - kind of a shame because a lot of people were saying the same thing - I hope they work it out - not that it matters in the end because - fuck YEAH!

and how could I not mention the superb and amazing mr mcready sitting right in front of us playing YL - and it felt like it was right to us although I know we all feel that sometimes!
- I think time just kind of stopped for Neil and I - something you can just never forget!
