Come on already you PJ20 attenders, you've been home for at least
a day now.
Let's hear about it you fuckers.

I want to make sure and give Ed all the feedback when I meet him
on Sunday. or Monday. or Thursday.

no wait, scratch Thursday, I'll be watching the opening game of
the NFL season so I won't be able to commiserate with the drunkard
on that night.

Pretty epic... Had a great time.....
Saw some peeps from this here board.
Drank many spotted cows...
And as long as Serena is happy, blah, blah, blah.....

Well, yea that's a given.

I promise to make it for PJ21 wherever they decide to hold it.

Javy, I like your attitude. It's all about Serena and don't you forget it ;)

Loved seeing you guys again! Too bad it was such a short visit since we needed a mad dash to the merch stand before the show...and we didn't know the time had moved up 'til the last minute!

Alpine Valley is "UUUGE"! We've never seen an outdoor venue that large...probably twice the normal size. We had the best time of our lives! 'Course it's hard to top PJ20 and the ridiculous rarely-played songs they pulled out of the vault for this one. Chris Fucking Cornell was a super-highlight and hearing Ed & Chris singing Hunger Strike was *priceless* :):):)

Thousands tailgating...tons of beer pong, cornhole, and the obligatory mud-sliding. Lots of folks openly smoking Herbie Hancock. What security they had was lax & basically looked the other way. Otherwise I guess they'd have to bust half of the crowd. Didn't see many drunks at all and another reason I love a PJ crowd.

Merch flew off the shelves. If you didn't purchase on day one you probably didn't get what you wanted on day two. Posters, hoodies and the Green Bay/ Milwaukee-looking shirts disappeared in no time.

Thought the crowd was great both nights...super loud and singing along. Lots of international folks milling about sporting their country's flag. It was most inspiring to think these folks travelled across the globe for PJ.

Regret of all regrets: never got into the PJ museum. Lines were always incredibly long and they would only allow a certain amount of folks in at a time. If anyone did get in, I'd love to hear about it.

Here's a *clink* to PJ25 !!!

it was beautiful, wonderful, magical!!!!!!!

didn't get to see all my friends and those i did see... just never enough time :(
also, the cell service was horrible so there was just no contacting anyone in a timely manner. if you were lucky, you ran into your friends in the middle of the 35,000+...
at the very least, you knew your friends were there, celebrating the music not too far away from you!

saturday's weather was warm, humid and rainy
but the glorious weather sunday made up for it tenfold!
cool, clear blue skies with puffy white clouds!

highlights: glen hansard.. eddie and glen hansard.. eddie and john doe... the obvious great time the bands were having... ahhh just everything about it...
and seeing my FRIENDS!!! <3

everyone was just so HAPPY... you could feel it!!

lowlight: i didn't get into the PJ museum
(but cath and kristin did, so we can let them tell us all about it!)

and i love chris cornell but i could have done with one less song each night..."
i wanted as much Pearl jam as possible!

lol. cell service was the worst. after not finding anyone on saturday, i posted my intended schedule for sunday. georgie lost track of my and when i went over to the front of the stage for john doe...there she was.. "i knew you would be here"...lol...and then scott found me at my seat that afternoon.

it was definitely a good time...that's for sure. wish i could have seen the museum...oh well....it wouldnt have been worth missing music and seeing you guys.
