what a great idea - imagine of certain other bands did that - and not just the one we're all thinking about

it's kind of old school in a way - bands used to do album tours that were actually album tours

buy those power ball tickets! (I don't even know if they have them in Florida - we don't have them here - we have other suck ass lotteries)

i saw them on that tour but they must have been alternating sets night to night, and on my night they played NO songs from 'perfect from now on' i'd waited years to see them - they're really not too well known here... maybe a bit too 'jam-band' for uk tastes.

anyway, saw them a few weeks ago opening for/'co-headlining' with dinosaur jr... they were great but only played an hour and they were just getting warmed up. and they only played one song from the new lp, despite it being great. 'car' and 'carry the zero' were the last 2 songs... transcendent.

i remember in ed's interview with janeane garofalo, he said college radio shouldn't be playing pearl jam, it should be playing 'nusrat fateh ali khan and built to spill.'

the 'all tomorrows parties' promoters started off the whole playing an album in full trend over here a few years back. i saw sonic youth play 'daydream nation' 3 times.

do you know if theres a way to obtain 'closure' without having to use a torrent? (i understand its never going to be officially released, so trent leaked it?)

i have it on vhs somewhere. as far as i know, there's just the torrent....and i have no idea how torrents work, so the vhs will have to do for now.

me neither, and US vhs does not work in the uk. and also i don't have a tv come to think of it.

the 'hurt' video is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen... along with johnny cash's.

they were added to the Voodoo Festival line-up, so I might actually see them for the first time.
