...so, as two of you know, I bought a new bike last week. I didn't want to go with a mountain bike this time because we ride on the road 98% of the time, so I bought a road bike. But, I wasn't going to spend over $500 for a bike because I DO NOT race...I just ride as hard as I can until I can't ride anymore or I reach my destination. So, I got on Dick's Sporting Goods' website and bought a bike that had good reviews elsewhere. Obviously, I cannot put a bike together and adjust this and that so Beta (I LOVE HER) took it to the bike shop for me. We went and picked it up today and I asked the guy what he thought about the bike giving that I paid $230 for it and he was a jerk. He said, "It's generic," and walked away. He didn't say, "For a first-time bike for a casual rider it will get the job done, but I could have sold you a way better bike if you would have saved up a little bit of money." Then, the fucking guy had his mechanic put a wrong stem on it because he just wanted it out of his shop. FUCK YOU ASSHOLE GUY! I am not spending $1200 on a bike. I DO NOT FUCKING RACE BIKES!!! I was really excited and this guy deflated me...because I didn't buy a $2200 bike in his fucking bike shop. FUCK YOU! I hate you!

The bike works just fine, by the way (smoother, lighter, and faster than my mountain bike...which is now Beta's bike). So, I win...
