Here's what happens: Your computer breaks, (your mind aches... haha sorry... I just listened to revolver... but SERIOUSLY...) you have to write a paper, hence you have to go to a computer lab, people in computer labs are loud (not to mention the fucking advent of cell phones, which enable people to talk to anyone anytime anywhere), you can't work with noise, but you have to work with noise, so you go for your own choice of music, but then it distracts you cuz you'd rather sit and listen to yr music than write a fucking paper, and as you already mentioned, you need complete silence to write a paper. But music is better than people's annoying fucking banter, eh? So you try and deal. So you listened to Revolver (the beatles) already and now yr onto murmur (r.e.m.) You don't necessarily listen to Pearl Jam cuz that distracts you completely from writing.

I'm looking at that word, murmur, and as I often read stuff backwards, it's nicely rumrum. Is that a sign? Should I be drinking myself under the computer table? HA. That would help my nerves. But not my paper. DIE PAPER DIE! it was never alive, was it? BLEH.

This is why I was VERY grateful to have a computer at home while I was in college. $400 for a computer, printer and modem....not a bad deal at all! I would have rather paid that than put it up with those labs. OH THE HORROR!!! I hated those places.

you're rambling... sure sign of procrastination. in the next two weeks i have 3 papers, each 5-10 pages, a psych final for which i havent even started reading the chapters, and a 10 minute presentation in german.

how much of it have i started? ...

and yes, comp labs suck ass- no computer in my room cuz i didn't think it was worth it cuz i didn't expect to be on the computer too much cuz i never was at home... then i discovered synergy...
