it didn't work cause the address you chose is for the whole page. you should right click on the pic, then 'properties' and then copy the address it shows there /images/smile.gif that's the addy you should put here...

shan..this was my first post here at smirks place, back in 2000.

jess..i came over here from synergy...and the board was a bit more complicated...but you could put the smilies in your posts, or put pictures in your posts (had a hard time with that one) or even change fonts and stuff...couldnt do that at synergy...so everyone called these cool things *toys* when in reality, they are, what...html?

anywho...its fun to look back. why dont youse guys round up your first posts...i dare ya ;)
