Who's coming to my lovely city in October! Bring your sleeping bags. You can sleep at my place if ya wanna. (Though I live on the other side of town and have two rambunctious greyhounds - fair warning)

I think they announced the lineup the other day, but they speculate every year whether pearl jam will come, so I stopped listening. My friend Chris just emailed me to let me know. It just made me sad every time it didn't pan out. :frown:

But it's real now. I'm so happy!!:silly:

I told myself that I wouldn't take any more trips to see the band until I took a trip to see my sister. Well, I'm flying out to Florida to see her at the end of June (just in time for my nephew's 16th birthday) and Pearl Jam is coming to me. I love when the universe works in my favor. :)

Cool. Is this part of the ACL show that is aired on PBS or another festival entirely? Last year I saw R.E.M.'s ACL a mere 2 days after watching their tour-opening gig in Burnaby and I really dug it.

Hi!

Well, kinda... in that the same people do both the show and the festival I believe (not sure, tho). But no, it's not the show. That's filmed in a studio on the University of Texas campus. The ACL Music Festival is a three day festival out in the park USUALLY in the blazing late summer heat, though this year they're having it later to prevent heat strokes? Maybe? I dunno... that's what I hear.

Anyway... this means you won't get to watch it on PBS. You all have to actually come to the show. ;) No swine flu here. :gas::P
