We saw this film last night and thought it was phenomenal.
If you're wondering what you should go see at the movies next, I would highly recommend it.
Not only was it a great film, but it's also a very important piece of human rights history. History that I really didn't know much about going in. I remembered bits and pieces, but seeing how everything played out and why things happened the way they did was really interesting.

Remember how she was on the news all the time? It was funny, the second they showed footage of her in the film the entire theatre moaned! :silly:

bravo! yes! i would LOVE to see this film, however, IT'S NOT PLAYING ANYWHERE...GRRR! it's only at a small artsy-fartsy theatre in a town not too far from here. as soon as a free night out beckons, i will catch it...

this is too important a film *not* to be playing in the chain theatres, etc.
i would like to know why it is not in full release...\

there was an hbo or showtime (one of them) documentary on harvey milk a few years ago. i caught it and was mesmerized, not only by the man himself, but by the story, his story, what transpired, and his circle of loyal friends.

by all means, if it is playing in your area SEE IT.

It's the same here, only playing in a theatre that gets indie, foreign and smaller scale films. It's not playing in any of the big chains. I agree, it should be playing in everywhere.

If you can see it, you won't be disappointed. They're thinking of keeping it on an extra week at the theatre we saw it in because the crowds have been so big.
