OK, last year we killed with Rock of Love costumes.
This year, not so much.

We have a killer party on the 25th.
Need suggestions...

I suggested we do clockwork orange outfits (Alex)
I've seen both boys and girls do it

Anyone, anyone...

One year Smitty and I went as Dick and Jane,

He was a giant....well,.... Dick.... fashioned out of a peach/skin tone shower curtain. He made 2 wire circles, one for the bottom, one for the top. Used grommets to make the cylinder...(shaft), then made a wire frame for the head...circle with spokes, kind of like an umbrella. He used heavy tape to attach the peach vinyl to the head, didn't want a ring of grommets showing.
Made a window for his face in the.....(shaft), and drew a black hole on the tip.
He also attached a balloon on each sneaker with string, (balls)
I dressed like a school girl with plaid skirt, white peter pan collar blouse and pigtails and carried a copy of 'Fun with Dick and Jane' in my arms.

my bro&sisinlaw won a contest with this one:
he was dressed in suit and tie...had a game show host hairstyle...carried a microphone and balloons...and a huge cardboard "check" for $10,000,000...
she was dressed in her pajamas...bathrobe & slippers...hair in curlers...
they were Publisher's Clearing House - he was the guy who rings your doorbell, she was the crazy wife who won..real easy to put together, all stuff from their own closets. just had to make a big check and buy balloons.
it was awesome.


if i had a party to go to this year with mr. ardy, we'd go as sweeney todd and mrs. lovett....
