I laugh now. All these years a word or two is always out of place.

in the beginning the words weren't given... or rather they were left in scribble and obscurity.

I have been digging into their official PJ website and it's pretty cool. They post the lyrics... although I find it cute they left the "tincture vs. teacher" thing a mystery

anyway... in corduroy .... Varmint's Path.. I used to think it was the Firmest.

A couple of words in Black threw me off as well.. very cool altogether. I think its really cool we no longer have to rely on BS internet guesses...

"Varmint" (occasionally "varmit") is an American-English colloquialism. The term describes farm pests which raid farms as opposed to infest farms: mainly predators such as foxes and coyotes, sometimes even wolves; but also (to a lesser degree) herbivores and burrowing animals which directly damage crops and land. Although this is not a prevalent term in Standard Written English, it is a common descriptor for certain kinds of weapons and pest control situations (e.g., "varmint guns", "varmint hunting", "pesky varmint").
